     @koropokkur @Terry @000a It’s such an old 50’s way of thinking about it though, as if there’s a chance it’s still there. Come on, bureaucracy would have pilfered it decades ago, why WOULD it be there unless there were severe penalties in place for touching it?

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @koropokkur @Terry @000a This was a problem as early as 1920s as described by Hjalmar Schacht in The Magic of Money. Fractional reserves and easy credit had resulted in a redemption problem as early as perhaps 1916.

     i saw a jootube story about the Titanic and it went into how JP Morgan owned or was part owner of the shipping company. the guys that died on that boat were all against the fed and wouldve spent millions to keep it from happening. JP Morgan was, not surprisingly, for the fed reserve. basically sunk the ship and killed them to make sure the fed happened. but this is just a "theory"
     
     sounds about right to me.

     We really need to learn from that.
