"If your user sees a GUI, you've failed"
- Richard Stallman
- nyanide :nyancat_rainbow::nyancat_body::nyancat_face: repeated this.

@adachi @meso He didn't say that?

@Suiseiseki @meso
He did I heard him say it

@adachi @Suiseiseki me too

@Cyrillic @adachi @meso the gaps oh dear, it's a tragedy. Why did Luke decide on those gaps

@Cyrillic @meso
Artix is broken as fuck for me. The GUI installer has never worked for me.
The manual install *did* work, but it broke after I enabled arch repos because the default repos are so sparse of packages. (at least, were. it's been years since I used it)
-
@adachi @meso the GUI installer was easy, although the main one had a problem where your computer gets loaded with a lot of bloat programs you'll never use
luckily they also have an experimental "online" one that works well for an easy minimalist&encrypted install (unless don't refuse to create a swap partition in which case it breaks)
-
@adachi @meso I have failed RMS (the base install was a pain in the ass and never booted for unknown reasons)

This man visited 1000 /g/ desktop threads, here's what happened to his DWM rice

@adachi @Cyrillic @meso I think I'm the only person who actually wants to set up a window manager that looks like stock rio dude, flashy effects are too distracting when I am trying to be productive.
Anyways making fun of flashiness aside how does Luke work with the windows only taking like 75% of the screen???

@nyanide @Cyrillic @adachi @meso gaps are ok when your screen is big
why is :luke: using gaps on a 12 inch X220? buy xmr to find out
-
@nyanide @adachi @meso I actually widened the gaps just for the screenshot, it's normally like this
