     4chan had a comfy relationship with the feds in the moot days as well and people forget this. That's why it's allowed to stay up and gets less flak, combined with the fact that as the /qa/ board being frozen for a year or two now shows, the enemies control it. In fact if you want proof 4chan is dead, go look at how /qa/ is frozen in time with next to no posts on it because they raided /lgbt/ with ack wojacks.

     But on the other hand, I'm sure other sites aren't going to be immune. KF has a strict no fedposting policy not only because of the false flags that were being used to shut it down, but also because one user in particular had a FBI visit for posting fake threats. P recently got a FBI subponea because of a post a user on another website that federates with FSE made, and he was panicking and asking if any other fedi admins have been subponeaed. They'll just likely be more transparent than 4chan is.
