     @meso @theorytoe nope. also in usa its legal to build your own guns without license or registration (and rightfully so uwu).
     I've considered going to the library and using their 3d printer to print gun parts but I know you can't have guns in there idk how it is with parts

     @theorytoe @VladimirVladimirovichPutin oo look at me oo i downloaded file in internet and set my $600 3D printer to print it !! im so cool i'm such a 3dprintcel i know it's made out of plastic and it's ugly and it's got those tiny ridges and it looks like a toy and it's got some weird stuff from the plastic being funky but it's 3D PRINTED guys this is the ONLY way to make guns at home

     @dave @theorytoe I always found the obsession with 3D printed guns weird since you can make commercial-grade guns using common machine tools using instructions from manuals that you can buy on Amazon. The barrels are the tricky part, but still completely doable. In most states this is perfectly legal, so long as you aren't manufacturing them for sale.

     @theorytoe Not a good one, though. You can print the receiver and other low-stress parts, but (affordable) 3D printers can’t work with materials that will hold up to the extreme pressures in the chamber and barrel and such.

     Note that you can make a gun at home, you just can’t do it all with a 3D printer.
