     @johnbudd1350 He’s got a new routine for the models, I like the other one better. IDK what his method is, it’s something w/ AI and sketches, I think? Originally I assumed it was another dude just motion capping but the hip sway doesn’t look masculine to me, I think it’s drawings being stitched together

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @johnbudd1350 It's definitely him just using AI to rotoscope the individual frames of the dance and then cutting them out so he can put them on a consistent background to help ground them. Not sure if the original subject was a person or like an MMD animation but the effect still works out okay enough.

     @johnbudd1350 I assume the jankiness is from him drawing like 8 keyframes, then having the AI intersperse how each one should be connected, just judging from his other work. Seems like an artist/animator more than anything, but I didn’t pay much attention.

     I just don’t like the “dude dances w/ vtuber overlay” thing, it’s kinda gay

     @WashedOutGundamPilot I mean AI can already make really great still images, who says someone well versed in animation hasn't figured out how to stitch these still images together into animation frames?

     @lichelordgodfrey @johnbudd1350 The better quality these adjuncts are, though, the higher quality our homebrew stuff is. Imagine that ‘uncanny valley’ graph, except there’s a crossover point where the quality of mainstream media drops within reach of people like the murdoch makers. Once you get within spitting distance of mainstream quality, you can nab audience share from them.

     Presentation counts for a lot to normies. Having somethign that’s JUST good enough that they’re willing to overlook it could mean having some seriously effective media turning things around.

     I can only imagine them wanting to stop that. With tools like that in the hand of talented and marginalized guys, proper story, and beautiful characters will be a fantastic propaganda tool.
