> I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent”

People lose their jobs over quotes like this, these days. It‘s obviously society that’s problematic, rather than Scripture; but the State doesn’t see it that way and that can pose some real problems.
This isn’t to mention the twisting of Scripture; certain passages are more prone to this, than others.
But is it not also thus with Holy Tradition? Why or why not ?
