Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 00:24:48 JST Boomerman For those confused by bahkmut you have to understand that America wont fund the ukes if theyre winning. If youre beating russia without valuable F16s than you really dont need them. If the ukes were winning there would be no need for more arms. Zelensky HAS to maximize deaths otherwise the NATO alliance will do nothing for them. And with a powerful global propaganda network all the men pressed to the front will be counted as civilian deaths by the media. Throw in kikes like garland looking for muh crimes against humanity and bahkmut becomes a perfect excuse for escalation. Yes the ukes are losing and yes YOU the american taxpayer on the hook for changing that - Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this.

Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks (washedoutgundampilot@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 00:25:54 JST Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks @Boomerman They brought in uke pilots late in the news cycle last week, gonna have 12 “training” over here just to see how long it would “theoretically” take to get their dumb monkey brains up to speed on the F16s (18 months quoted, but that’s what they said about the afghanis….and they took 7 years to graduate)
-
Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 00:32:11 JST Boomerman @WashedOutGundamPilot The afghanis were purposely fucking off though. They could "train" these ukes as much as they want but f16s are gonna get rolled by all that russian AA especially if thats all they get. Theyre just another thing they want to throw in the trash too justify even more.
"Look the 13 f16s we sent didint work now we need americans on the ground with american jets and helos over head. We gotta save ukraine" may take a few more years. We didnt get into ww3 for a few years despite arming everyone and paying them. Just like now. -
Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks (washedoutgundampilot@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 00:32:11 JST Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks @Boomerman I don’t think they’ll be able to be very effective getting tossed directly from transition training right into the biggest peer to peer aerial battle we’ve seen in half a century. They’ll get knocked out of the air in less than 3 months and then they’ll be begging for more.
Kinda moot, unless they find a good chump to give up their F16s. I know some victors are being shipped, I think to the ME and they won’t give them up. Maybe the gay-chinks will toss a few of theirs to the ukes.
I’m not impressed by the combination of ukes and yankee tech. It’s too temperamental, too delicate for their use. They beat it to hell and can’t sustain it without the insane american logistics apparatus.

Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 00:48:42 JST Boomerman @WashedOutGundamPilot Poland also asked for f16s and was told no. Are we gonna shit on an ally to fund ukraine? Is poland going to get into the war just for these f16s? Theres a lot of bullshit and palms that need to be greased but 300k dead ukes is a nice way to tell bratty nato allies to shut the fuck up and get in line. "Sorry germany i know we blew up your gas line but the ukes have worse. Send money and tanks now please". Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this. -

You have to be able to know effective ranges, threats, the way your systems respond to their targeting, it’s a whole mountain to learn and refresh all the time and that’s leaving out the actual “fly the plane under high G load while surrounded by threats” portion
18 months is fine in peacetime when you’re gonna get sent out to do exercises for 12 years, maybe drop ordnance on a camel stable once in a while….not so much against the russians’ active, now-blooded forces.
(Russian A/c have their own woes though)

Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 01:04:41 JST Boomerman @WashedOutGundamPilot @PunishedD The russians seem bad at conducting air shit but good at locking down air space with AA. The ukes would just die if they tried f16s with only 18 months of training. Thats literally the bare minimum. -

Even so, I’m not too hopeful for them….though most of my doubt comes from the fact their commanders won’t use them effectively, and their logistics will fail them consistently so it’s not entirely the pilots’ fault

Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 01:10:52 JST Boomerman @WashedOutGundamPilot @PunishedD Theres nothing that an f16 can do that a mig or sukhoi that the ukes already have cant do. Their current aircraft are pinned at low altitude where missle strikes are worthless and bombs cant get close enough. Youd also need weapons for em so that means giving them our actual good weapon systems but theyre still worthless if they cant use them properly. Its all just an excuse to drag NATO writ large into a war. -

Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks (washedoutgundampilot@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 01:17:21 JST Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks @Boomerman @PunishedD Every F-16 off the line is spoken for for about the next 5 years. If they want to scrounge up some, and not take them from US inventory (iffy, most are aged and modernized, not really stuff they want to hand right over to the russians as a gift) then they have to find another client willing to give up their slots.
Problem is, the current run of victors are being sent to….bahrain? I think? They aren’t too keen on handing over their new toys, either. And I think the RCAF is gonna be next behind them, another bunch who won’t play ball. The only feasible F16 ‘sale’ I could see would be the dutch? Can’t recall, maybe norway, there are a couple countries who might give theirs up if they accelerate the F-35 changeover.
But as it stands now, they don’t have a very good, secure pipeline to hand over F-16s any sooner than about 1.5-2 years from now

Aircraft are a different ball game from artillery, small arms. You can’t just text units to turn in their fighters like they did the carl gustavs.
The AF only has so many jets and they’re already short of what they want, anything capable enough is an asset they won’t throw in the garbage heap without actual, airworthy, immediate replacement.
And then you STILL have a bunch of bureaucracy in order to sign off the tech transfer, and presidential signature doesn’t carry that process through all the way.

Or they’re just….not retarded, and they don’t see that much value in blowing away handfuls of dudes with half a million dollars in munitions. But they’re around at least

Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 01:25:37 JST Boomerman @mmmfeet @WashedOutGundamPilot @PunishedD They sorta have. Theyre using lots of helos and attack aircraft but they dont ever seem to do any penetration missions with shit like bombers. On paper the A10 was gonna be around longer till mark welsh killed it. They may send those actually instead of 16s wouldnt be a bad idea for nato.
