@morgthorak I like to see what gold, PMs and crypto do in these times. The trend seems to be a lesser dip as weak hands are forced to liquidate stored assets in order to cover margin. However, for gold especially, there is a hard floor of buyers that prevent a significant crash
The banksters wanting to smash gold used to accelerate said downward moves via naked paper shorting; I am seeing far less of these shenanigans lately. They are either unwilling or now unable to do so.

@TrevorGoodchild As someone who does not own stocks or bonds, I find the whole thing amusing. A lot of people freaking out and losing their minds, but it's just another Monday for me.
Sometimes it's good to be poor. 😂

@VikingWays @Kalogerosstilitis2RevengeoftheJunta @TrevorGoodchild the problem with the way they taught us about "average life span" was in their failure to mention the pyramidal shape of that breakdown. Worse, that most deaths were of children, as children have not-yet fully-developed immune systems; couple that with the fact that children can make horrifying mistakes, like running and tripping directly into a fire, and pre-pubescent children dying was common.
In school, they didn't tell us that. They just said "average lifespan was 33" and left it at that. The reality is that if you made it to adulthood, you had a fair chance of making it to old age.

@NoDoxGregBrady @VikingWays @Kalogerosstilitis2RevengeoftheJunta What really hits hard is when you realize those early childhood deaths may have had a eugenic culling purpose, which has now been worked around by sanitation, antibiotics and modern medicine
Very much "desert of the real" territory

@VikingWays @TrevorGoodchild That was before people lived into their 80s man. I will never badmouth the idea of a pension, only its implementation (snd fetishization) Fascism brought pension and healthcare in Greece and it worked. It only crashed when everything did and still it better than with out it. Metaxas the dictator was right to introduce both. Its how they're implemented, why and for whom

People had very long lives in the Bible and days beyond. They are finding skeletons of 75+ year old Norsemen in a few of the recent dig sites, if we trust their methods. I am not against retirement, I'm against this jew life that's been peddled since the 50s and the way it's implemented. Intent and structure are everything, that we agree.

People sitting on their retirement as if that is ever how God planned you to spend your days, being worthless for twenty plus years riding around in an RV. Man was put here to work and worship and when too infirm, to be taken care of by his family until he meets his maker.
