I love those minimalist fighter planes, it just works for the basics. -
Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks (washedoutgundampilot@poa.st)'s status on Wednesday, 31-Jul-2024 10:15:21 JST Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks @Whitewall_Blasphemy @Hoss @Terry Turboprops aren't exactly these easy pieces either, their hot section needs pretty expensive overhaul with hardy parts, too, but they have pretty forgiving TBOs and they seem to endure longer periods without care, if the southerners in brazil, africa are any indication.
I could see a niche for tucanos when these places have reasonable airspace security, we've had the argument on poast a few times: we should have used these all through GWOT instead of burning up our airframes, they'd do a lot of the missions for a lot cheaper.
