   Pros:
   >uplifting a broken and demoralized nation that had become Europe's bitch, and turned into the world superpower that they fought WWI to become in such a short time, even if only FOR a short time
   >despite their material setbacks, overwhelming their neighbors and fighting toe to toe with nations that had much more resources, combining excellent manoeuvre with mechanized warfare
   >turning around the impact of the great depression faster than almost any other country due to their economic policy
   >being able to forge Germany's fractured national identities into a new one, in an impressive feat of social engineering due to their tremendous propaganda and a well thought-out philosophy
   >national populism, which is based
   
   Cons:
   >in practice, their worker's unions did not actually benefit most laborers
   >they made material promises to people that they had no way to deliver
   >cults of personality are generally not good for longevity
   >weird autistic pet projects with no real utility
   >eugenics in general also gets autistic, though have no moral issue with it
   >unpopular opinion but slave labor is cringe regardless of context
   >they certainly made tactical missteps, but what they are depending on who you ask, I don't think any particular misstep was what cost them the war, however, as America was going to get involved one way or another under FDR, and Germany had no chance of winning as soon as they did, and one could argue that fighting a losing battle in itself is a misstep

     @kuon @corfiot @Senator_Armstrong @HSTG @NEETzsche Somewhere on here I had a study going over production metrics of German industry during the war, they basically screwed everything up by drafting women and foreigners into their factories. Would have better off leaving the original menfolk working in there over sending them to the front. Productivity and quality slid throughout.
