     @waffle@social.076.moe I don't know if I would call me a vtuber ahah, but thanks for the compliment, YouTube and Twitch are cringe don't really want to use them. Maybe I'll setup some avatar for next stream

     Sorry...I didn't mean for it to come off as an insult. There is a ton of degen vtubers so I get the stigma but I meant it as a compliment. I'm a pngtuber but almost all vtubing talents stay away from alt tech. Maybe you could count hector martins crew but they're kinda cringe imo. I guess I jumped the gun tho, I saw ur avatar and the fact you had a stream and Immediately presumed you were a vtuber but if you work on a personal avatar thats hype! As I said before mines just a png but it does add personality to a stream.

     @waffle@social.076.moe it's cool it's cool, vtubers are ok I don't like the platforms was what I meant. Thing is that the avatars are just a tool, so it depends on how people use them.
     It's cool I didn't know you can just use a PNG, I may start doing those more it's fun, I was just hanging yesterday while drawing

     veadotube is probably the simplest and easiest pngtubing software out there, but its surprisingly deep
     you can even use gifs for it

     Sounds interesting! I typically just use this:
     https://github.com/ThatDerpette/PNGTubie
     it basically cycles through images and will change them based off whether it hears voice or not. Its foss and works on linux so you don't need to rely on discord or any proprietary software.

     Ohh yeah no I get what you mean. I even get a sour taste in my mouth when a user who complains about said big tech platform refuses to branch out to other ones that clearly will treat them better.
