  Myself and the moderation had reason to believe he was insinuating that the Taliban won, not because the US is incompetent, but because they were offered harems of "young slave wives" which based on the context of the rest of his posts especially the one regarding "womens biology" (referring to the sexual maturation of young girls) , led us to believe he was of the opinion that young girls should be kept as sex slaves through force, and that anyone who decries such things is a jew who will be shot.
  
  Even if that was not his point, I don't want people who are incapable of expressing their viewpoints in constructive ways here. There are certain key words that, in context, leads me to believe he may be of a certain persuasion, which is incompatible with my own views or this platform to boot.

  It's comical to pretend the taliban were some skilled warriors, they have brownskin's summer sloth, they weren't clawing back territory during siesta hours against a determined foe. It was more akin to two sides going through the motions because they both placidly accepted the inevitable.

  Somehow I don't think you would accept posting some women failing the weaver in basic as the "A game" of the US army, so I'm just not gonna comment on that weird training video.
  
  The West would be better off not do discount the tricks and inventiveness of adversaries like the Taliban. That's how we got blindsided by airburst shrapnel RPG-7 and timed double IED deathtraps. A lot of good people died because of this attitude.

I don't like overestimating our own, but the narrative online is that the taliban are VERY good fighters when they really just showed up after some token resistance. The other side aimlessly shoots at the scenery, they return fire, and everyone goes home content they "tried". That's the smart way to fight for afghanistan anyways, no need to fight for their honor and pretend they're hard charging tactical mavericks.
  Afghans aren't sergeant york charging forth and taking 100 prisoners, they're opportunistic carrion eaters harrying their prey to death. That's why hardscrabble desert forbears survived to begin with.

  A lot of Brass thought like you, "oh what's gonna happen, they're gonna pretend to fire at us for like 10 mins? The boys can just call CAS, it'll be fine" and 20 minutes later 15 delta force operators are fucking dead on some godforsaken mountain because they didn't take it seriously.
  Every NATO army has stories like this, they were lulled into a false sense of security before getting their ass kicked by these "carrion eaters"
  
  Afghanistan was not a win "by default" for the Taliban, that victory was hard fought and they made NATO pay a heavy price. We didn't leave because we were bored, we left because they stopped us from achieving any war goal for 20 fucking years despite overwhelming advantage. They weren't super soldiers, they were just better than us.

  America left the country, we pulled up stakes and they slowly followed the retreat while going through the empty theatrics of shooting at the "loyalist" ana or whatever they were called. If you haven't spent time in the 3rd world there's no use trying to explain it.
  Any time the yankee comes in and starts tossing money around they get very good at drawing it out of us, they show us what we want to see, and we take the good show for the idea that we actually got our money's worth out of the deal. America pulled up tent stakes as we retreated, and those we trusted to maintain our artificially imposed order put up a token resistance for a day or two, then went home comfortable in telling the white man "hey I tried, man what do you want from me?"
  If you want to change my mind I'd have to see casualty counts showing that the ANA had 80% KIA against taliban forces - but those don't exist, because they did the usual brown thing of shooting at landscapes, shrugging, and going home
