   I think it's more accurate to say that human beings have been dumbed down to the point that an AI can now pass the Turing Test.

   Testing is only as good as the comparative material and in this day and age with public schools being what they are, that bar is at an all time low.

     @lovelymiss @iamthejeeves @JohnSmith87298753 I'd wager 80 to 90 percent of the nation couldn't repair a simple item in their home on their own and certainly not something complex like a vehicle or appliance. This doesn't even get into actually building a sound structure. To your point, those illiterate peasants built cathedrals and even modest farmhouses that have lasted a thousand years.
