Is this a case of "once you get one of these hyper-specific parts designed in, they've got you: vendor lock in and price ramping up to infinity and beyond?"
@mntmn I feel your pain. Alas I am not providing a solution. As to the other commenter: Don't forget to design in space between connectors, buttons and dials for operators with large hands wearing winter gloves. And don't forget to consider spacing in the Z dimension if this is racked between two other pieces of gear. These things are hard to visualize in CAD because we can zoom in cad. Zooming doesn't help in meat-space to fit fingers in tight spaces :-)
@arstechnica I love that anything bad is always found on "the dark web". Yet I doubt anybody buying from this tor site got there by looking for "the dark web" to find it. They just clicked on links and followed the instructions just like doing anything on the bright web.
@arstechnica It least it looks like these guys are actually working hard on something... It doesn't look like they have any time left over to spend time doing cable management or staging a flashy photograph of their setup. Not enough venture capital money floating around yet to hire a team of support people?
