The debt ceiling isn't a thing, it's a red herring used largely by Republicans to push the blame for Congressional spending onto the Democratic Party.

It's a purely political construct to hold up maintaining the US economy.

The cause of the problem is congressional spending and Republican tax cuts for the filthy rich crippling revenue. The Constitution is very specific that the US government must pay its debts.

It looks like a $300+ million judgement expected for #Trump.

I guess we'll find out how much of a billionaire he really is.

If he's worth $12 billion as he claims, this is nothing.
