You forget that the target audience for these things are literally the marvel bugmen. Also that the average fallout fan (at least the one most likely to CONSOOM) is literally reddit incarnate -

Don't worry, I'm sure if you plug your ears and close your eyes and "LALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU" loud enough you can keep "death of the author"-ing your way out of this one, right 40gay bros? -
Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 15-Apr-2024 08:21:57 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. That's an interesting take on pantheism 🤔 -
Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 15-Apr-2024 08:21:31 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. It's kind of like the "young eath vs old earth cration" debate. It's largely inconsequential in a big picture sense, and more of a "well, God *is* all powerful so it's not unreasonable to assume he could just do that" kind of thing -
Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 15-Apr-2024 08:21:30 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. But if Genesis is 100% literal (I personally believe it is) then he didn't do that though -

Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 15-Apr-2024 08:21:28 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. It depends on how literal you want to take the details we do have. "He made it all in six days." Ok, sure. "On this day he made the animals, on this day the plants, on this day the fish, etc." Was it all the animals? All the fish? No mention of reptiles or amphibians; do we assume those are lumped in with one or the other, or do we assume there was some amount of darwinesque development at hand? It doesn't say for sure, so it's fair to go in either direction I guess. Again, I do take it literally at face value, but I can see why some people wouldn't -
Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 15-Apr-2024 08:21:27 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. Well it's that or we start deciding to fill in "gaps" ourselves which feels too much like a slippery slope to me. -
Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 15-Apr-2024 08:21:26 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. If that's what works for you go ahead. Like I said it's a pretty inconsequential thing in and of itself. Personally I'm not into that kind of syncretism -
Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 15-Apr-2024 08:21:19 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. I figured as much 🤔 -

I think the modern iteration where everything is propped up by the financial and investment industries is uniquely insidious and rapacious in ways that money power hasn't been in the past -
Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Thursday, 11-Apr-2024 23:20:40 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. This is because the basic assumptions are that:
-power functions the way it does because of the bourgeoisie/money power
-the "proletariat" is always correct (and obviously, politicians are chosen by the "proletariat") -
Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Thursday, 11-Apr-2024 03:10:15 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. Speaking for myself (whatever that's worth) I think it's tragic because the bad things are very bad. The catholics I know in real life don't like this stuff, they disagree with it, etc. and it's a deeply unfortunate thing to see happen. On the other hand, I would push back against the while "revel" thing, but I think there are people who should see things like this and be humbled by it. Whether it's the right thing to feel or not, there is a bit of catharsis that comes with something like that- watching the e-trad chatacumens twist themselves in knots of pilpul to justify how something like 'fiducia supplicans' is actually super based and trad and so on while avoiding how bad something like that looks on face value. From an outside perspective, there's this kind of sense where every time something comes out of Rome there's a feeling of "three steps back, two steps forward" -
