@zzz you probably mean in pocket reform? yeah, there is a plan for a wifi/bt module that connects to an extra connector on rcore. i still have to finish that though.
i'm giving a talk later this week and tbh i don't want to give talks anymore. it's just too stressful for me to prep etc. in the future i just want to do hands-on talking about our stuff like at the CCC assembly or maybe panel discussions that don't require a script. in general i prefer informal settings 100x more.
@holo_memory@esther i know why! the first few devices had an early keyboard firmware where the order was different. it's still in my todo list to make a painless upgrade script for the keyboard
PSA there's an updated MNT Pocket Reform Quickstart manual: https://mntre.com/documentation/pocket-reform-quickstart-and-safety-manual.pdf (done by @holo_memory) which shows some critically important shortcuts and the button assignments of the trackball, to avoid some confusion for first-time users that don't have the full handbook. Watching the first impressions video by @deBaer made it extra clear to me that this was required.
imagine if rents were really low, for homes and small businesses also... everybody would have a bunch more time and not be in a constant fight to make ends meet. imagine how one could take time to do stuff and how much interesting and creative spaces and stuff we could get. weird that (at least in berlin) this changed so dramatically (i'm here for around 20 years now). i know, i know, nothing new here. just saying!
@deBaer skippe gerade rein, kann schonmal sagen dass suspend/resume leider bekannterweise momentan broken ist. das ist sehr tricky zu debuggen. cool mit der mega customizeten tastatur und bin gespannt auf akkuexperimente!
