#TIL that #Thunderbird lets me set #filters to move an #email to a particular place *when* I archive it, rather than immediately! So I can still read the emails as they come in, and then hit "archive" to have them automagically filed away 📁️

There are other triggers too, besides "as soon as the email comes in" and "when I archive" that I haven't explored yet. Thunderbird rocks! :thunderbird: ✨️

I agree with the idea in principle, but the security part is a good point. Would it be enough to assume that someone who's savvy enough to notice an issue will also be savvy enough to already have a federated git account?

Or perhaps forges can display a "sign up here instead" list when registrations are closed, with links to the top 5 open-registration forges that are federating with them...🤔
