@lain@lain.com it's pretty good, but it's probably not a replacement for a monitor for coding on small text, and getting to to be tracked in space is pretty finicky and requires a lot of hardware. want glasses to easily watch a movie from a steam deck or phone and don't care if it's tracked in space though? it's fantastic. have a friend that uses it with her steam deck and motorcycle

@lain@lain.com yis, tried them out and know multiple people with them, they work great with the steamdeck but there's some caveats for tracking, what's up?

yknow like every single time i've declined to drink alcohol with someone by saying i could not do it legally (because i was carrying a gun at the time), they have always gotten almost scared and asked if i was/am an alcoholic or something with quite a worried expression on their face. i don't get this because i've never heard of and can't find any law that prevents you from drinking alcohol even if you were somehow labeled an alcoholic or something.
anyways, like every time this has happened i've basically had to explain that i was carrying a gun and i've never had a good enough opportunity to completely lean into the "yes. i am a crippling alcoholic. i've been banned from 37 bars in this city alone. bartenders all around this area have pictures of my face taped under the counter. bartending schools use me as a personal example of when to refuse to serve customers" or smth

i think it's fucked up that we know that dophin languages are hierarchically structured like human languages and we've successfully picked out names from it but we still have no idea what most dolphin language says
