1. screenshot of a discord message that says Fixed a security bug discovered by Emma, where applying a specific amount of ketchup to your game disc could lead to arbitrary code execution in CTGP. No, I'm not kidding. Although admittedly it didn't necessarily need to be ketchup... regardless, it was a bit impractical and had the tendency to deal damage to the Wii laser or game disc if you wanted to exploit CTGP in this way, but either way, it's fixed now.

I installed Ubuntu 10.10 it had an OS integrated chat client that could talk to everyone from everything and now in 2023 I have to go through hell to install Discord only to be met with like 300 upsells for Nitro

so on #Bluesky, rather than going with the well-documented and defined webfinger protocol, behind the .well-known directory, decided to make their own shit for verifying domains via HTTP (to change your handle to the website, proving your ownership of it)
thus, somebody took the S3 bucket name "xrpc" and now is s3.amazonaws.com on the platform
