fascinating, I didn't realize this is why that happens, haha. I just assumed that it was people not realizing what some word was pronounced. I worked with a guy that always pronounced the word "subsequent" as "sub SEE quent" -

Moon (moon@shitposter.club)'s status on Tuesday, 06-Feb-2024 07:40:47 JST Moon Local LLM is not remotely as good as ChatGPT for generating Pokemon. It adds extra crap in the JSON and omits stuff I asked for, the names suck, it mixes in real pokemon stuff. -
Moon (moon@shitposter.club)'s status on Tuesday, 06-Feb-2024 05:00:52 JST Moon @mangeurdenuage I'll re-generate it using a libre LLM. -
Moon (moon@shitposter.club)'s status on Tuesday, 06-Feb-2024 04:53:54 JST Moon I asked it to create me a Richard Stallman pokemon:
{ "name": "Gnustall", "type": "Electric / Steel", "animal_inspiration": "Gnu", "description": "Gnustall is a powerful and resilient Pokémon with a robust, gnu-like appearance, symbolizing Richard Stallman's steadfast dedication to the free software movement. Its body is armored with a metallic hide, representing a fusion of natural strength and technological advancement. Gnustall's horns are conductive, channeling electrical energy, a nod to Stallman's electrifying impact on the tech industry. Its steady gaze and imposing stature reflect the unwavering principles of freedom and open-source advocacy that Stallman represents.", "attacks": [ { "name": "Liberty Bolt", "type": "Electric", "description": "Gnustall channels a high-voltage electric attack, symbolizing the energizing power of freedom and open-source philosophy. This attack not only deals damage but also has a chance to paralyze the opponent, embodying the disruptive and transformative impact of Stallman's ideas." }, { "name": "Source Stomp", "type": "Steel", "description": "Gnustall unleashes a powerful stomp, its steel hooves symbolizing the robust foundation of open-source software. This attack deals significant damage and raises Gnustall's defense, reflecting the enduring and protective nature of open-source communities." }, { "name": "Recursive Rage", "type": "Fighting", "description": "Gnustall enters a state of focused fury, attacking in a recursive pattern. This represents the iterative and evolving nature of software development in the free software movement. The attack deals continuous damage and increases Gnustall's speed, mirroring the relentless progress of Stallman's advocacy work." } ] }In this concept, the gnu symbolizes Richard Stallman's strength and determination in his advocacy for free software, with the Electric and Steel types reflecting his influence in the technology sector. The attacks are designed to echo themes of freedom, open-source, and the iterative nature of software development.

Moon (moon@shitposter.club)'s status on Monday, 05-Feb-2024 23:20:18 JST Moon Anyway I spent all day Sunday working on OAuth2 integration and didn't quite get it done. I got most of the backend done to generate an oauth application on the remote Pleroma. Had to get the frontend code back up and going (hadn't touched it in a while) so I can get frontend integration working.
You will put your server host and username into the frontend and it will redirect to your pleroma OAuth2 auth page, then generate a token and redirect back to my site where I collect the token and use it to confirm you really own the account.
