    I took this from the "hallway" it's just a nice trailer with rubberized floors and built in D ring hold downs. Small kitchenette, master bedroom and bathroom. No slide outs or frills, it's a toy hauler. I've had my chopper and a quad in here before. This trip I'm "hoping" to get a bagger and a softail in here. It sounds ridiculous, but, consider the cost of hotels for 9 days in Sturgis? Upwards of $400/night I can take this for 9 days with full electric and water for less than that.

    I'd say we probably clock 30-45 nights a year in the camper. If truck prices ever stabilize I'd like to get a 2500 someday, get a bigger camper. Maybe give this to the kid or something.

    I will never purchase a medium duty diesel again. The cost of maintenance in the EGR Era is too high. I'm a Ram guy, Ram 2500 with the 6.2LMDS is more than enough. It's well over 14,000lbs. My trailer is 5,000 empty.

    I'm coming from a mechanic stand point. The Active Fuel Management system (AFM) that General Motors uses causes severe piston scoring on the rear 2 cylinders, causing extreme blow by. You will need an engine before 100k, hope you have a warranty. FoMoCo burned me forever as an owner of the 6.0L diesel. Also the 5.4L V8 will have excessive wear in your timing chain tensioner causing valve slap. Your front covers coming off for that one, $8k without the warranty. Better hope your cam phasers fail simultaneously or they won't cover them under warranty. Same repair cost. Dodge I replaced a wheel hub and a water pump. May need some ball joints at 100k
