ugh. Watching a video about one of my favorite DOS games, and they completely mangled the aspect ratio

This is painful. This wasn't even a matter of "I'll just display it with square pixels", because that would have been 16:10.

This was purposefully stretched to 16:9 for the video.

Potentially silly question because I know next to nothing about hardware: what would happen if we did this, but the user is playing on real DOS hardware?

I wonder if it'd be possible to hack up a special version of #DOSBox Staging that Acronia can send commands to, which DOSBox Staging would then use to trigger #Steam achievements

I honestly think Acronia could end up being remembered as one of the all-time great DOS games... if I can ever get off my ass and finish it
