I wonder if it'd be possible to hack up a special version of #DOSBox Staging that Acronia can send commands to, which DOSBox Staging would then use to trigger #Steam achievements

  @ClarusPlusPlus sounds fun. I don't think it'd be that hard to add a new IO port that triggers the steam achievement code when it gets a specific message

  @foone ohhh. I never would have thought to add a new port to the emulated environment. That's lowkey genius.
  Potentially silly question because I know next to nothing about hardware: what would happen if we did this, but the user is playing on real DOS hardware?
