@iamdtms Mastodon and Threads are already partially interoperable. You can follow Threads users today and see their posts. Currently Threads users can't follow you back or see your replies, but this is expected to change within the year.

@arkadiusz If this is Kodak Vision3, then did you turn it black and white in post? Or did you develop using black and white chemicals?

@Smootasaurus Yes, the trends APIs are documented, but you can also just inspect which APIs the web app uses if you're curious, everything the web app touches is an API.

@analog_cafe That's messed up. What country did that happen in? I once got approached by a couple who thought I had taken a photo of them, when I was just preparing a shot of a building. Was waiting for them to leave the goddamn street. It was very frustrating to explain over and over that I haven't even taken a picture yet, but luckily it didn't escalate any further.

@alexeheath Perhaps I didn't communicate it clearly enough, the eyeballs will be the exact same. Threads is becoming part of our decentralized network. But yes, we will be competing on app experience, and I genuinely believe Mastodon has the upper hand here.

@alexeheath This might take a few more months I've been told, but the idea is that people on Mastodon can follow people on Threads, and people on Threads can follow people on Mastodon. Same network, but on Mastodon you have better control over your experience and privacy.
