@arstechnica Neat trick, but terrible explanation of the epigenetic process on which it's based. It's a confusing explanation that says the G is chemically modified yet the sequence isn't modified, which is not going to make sense to either people who do or don't know about methylation. It would have been better to just briefly explain methylation, since that's the core of the trick (and only part of epigenetics).
@Gargron In lieu of financial support, which I'm not prepared to offer right now, I'm happy to consult a few hours on strategic communications, media training, etc.
@arstechnica In case anyone wants a digital display that you actually own and will show whatever you want, check out Dakboard. We've had one for years and love it, no affiliation. There's a free version with zero ads and it'll pull from whatever cloud storage you want (Dropbox, etc.) https://dakboard.com/site
Started watching this series called Foundation, after the Foundation series from Asimov. N case anyone was wondering, it's not a film version of the story, rather a story set in the same universe with some vignettes from the books. I'm guessing Foundation, is out of copyright, so they could use the name. It doesn't have the same sense of a grand sweep of history that you get from the books and is really more of a space action series with some bits of Foundation narrative spliced in.
