     @arstechnica Neat trick, but terrible explanation of the epigenetic process on which it's based. It's a confusing explanation that says the G is chemically modified yet the sequence isn't modified, which is not going to make sense to either people who do or don't know about methylation. It would have been better to just briefly explain methylation, since that's the core of the trick (and only part of epigenetics).
