@coolboymew if you're between the red lines you get to experience totality, but yeah the blue line is where it's longest. If you enter the city name you can run a simulator to show how long it will last, etc -

@coolboymew for sure, when I drove to the path of totality in 2017 in the middle of nowhere and camped, a ton of people showed up. I've read hotels are booked full like a year in advance usually. The experience is like nothing else, the way the wildlife reacts is just as cool as the visual in the sky imho -

let's hope everything works this time, REV 1 was a failure because I "ordered the PCBs without verifying the footprints"
I already know REV 2 won't be final, been working on firmware to replace the power switch (and hope to replace the little trim pot too) -

it worked :sweat: still not 100% sure how to make the sensor react the same no matter what side is lifted. Might end up just centering the sensor and using a surface mount LED next to it with a ring of 5 or 6 little magnets embedding in the top? Just from fiddling, it might even be best to have them at a 45deg angle -
