@gsuberland @jacqueline that's on the rev0 tho where i didn't find the new bms ic tho, the latest uses a balancer with integrated high-side drivers instead of low-side and discrete FETs.
so it's a bit more cost-optimized/ease of assembly vs. elegant.

otoh i should also just build a board with that solution just to compare, ya never know.

@gsuberland @jacqueline oh also another big consideration was how many pins have to go to the mobo. i would've use an mspm0 to do all the bat management per board with some protocol over i2c or uart or whatevs then, but complexity and even more mcus aren't too great.

but yeah, running the packs in parallel or switchable was an idea so that even different chemistries could be used, technically.
i only did the design for now and still haven't tested it myself

turbo soup (turbo tea in soup) just hits differently. {can, can't} recommend. all the electrolytes, sugar and caffeine you need for a day in one cup

so, yesterday i thought, while procrastinating doing the work that needs to be done "hey, it would be cool to edit charts in the web interface while seeing the data" and out came this.
it's not yet 100% functional, or pretty but whatever. the concept works :3

anyways, i thought i miiiiight maybe post some progress updates on all the stuff that goes on around edea again.

and for those that don't know what i'm talking about: edea is a collection of tools for electronics design automation. or specifically automating parts of the manual engineering work (ED engineering A, EDeA, yeah, i know, v creative).

we're working on two things currently: edea circuit sharing for sharing kicad modules (sub-circuits, think a well-laid out microcontroller or a tested wide input DC/DC), the edea library (kicad parser and lib written in python)
