@justnormalkorean@Giga_Vril_Breaker speaking of, it’s a damned shame there’s no mods that make oblivion (“the deadlands”) interesting. nothing fleshing it out, not even with more map variety.
These 5 dollars will never be yours because you’re too autistic to not use some esoteric control scheme to attempt to mimic human locomotion in what should be a simple boomer shooter.
@Codeki@weaf Remember how Kyle Katarn feared his own power so much that he gave up his lightsaber and the life being a jedi entirely to just be a bounty hunter for the New Republic? So much so that the first third of the game you only use guns & explosives? Much to the chagrin of people who played Star Wars: Dark Forces 2 - Jedi Knight, of course, as they wanted to get to the saber combat right away, heh.
And he wasn’t living in the times when jedi were ruthlessly hunted anymore, either.
Now that I think about it, that could be an interesting game. You’re a “grey jedi”, like true neutral where you can veer this way or that, and you’re a bounty hunter.
You cover your face, you use conventional weaponry most of the time, but here and there, on the sly while nobody is looking, either for convenience’s sake or because you messed up and time is critical, you use your force abilities a little, or you switch on your hidden lightsaber to bust through a door faster than you ever ought to.
It could be akin to the masquerade mechanic from World of Darkness (note: my only exposure to it was through “Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines”).
Ah, maybe if Disney had never bought out Lucas Arts and we had another 10 years before kikeshit hit the fan.
@matrix >race doesn't exist >we just compartmentalized parts of it into discrete units that, if combined, constitute "race" but we don't want to call it that
