   Despite them closing down on the 18th and removing all their products for sale from DMM, DLSite, etc., ILLUSION’s titles on Steam are still there available for sale. Apparently they are “adjusting the closing schedule” but that’s their entire message about it

     Not only there's Koikatsu, but there's like a 40$ or something DLC that doesn't seem to add much
     
     I ain't spending a hundo to choke the chicken when I have a crazy amount of shit to do this with already. This is why Illusion is going bankrupt

     And the brainlets at Illusion are offering me a 100$ way, which absolutely sucks ass btw. Their games are fucking awful and the overall control, UI, player friendliness, etc is basically negative
     
     You buy their games to mod the fuck out of them and fuck your waifus. So the best thing about it is literally all provided by 3rd parties
     
     This is stupid

     @coolboymew @1iceloops123 I forget which game it was but one of their earlier games, over a decade ago, I used to model characters for a VN I was trying to write, got lots of stuff relevant to that and even more that wasn't at all relevant to the project but very relevant to my boner from Hongfire

     @1iceloops123 @coolboymew so I was mistaken about what I used to make the girls for that VN project, it was actually 3D Custom Girl by TechArts3D. Still got that and loads of resources for it from Hongfire though.

     @1iceloops123 @coldacid those are likely characters cards. You share them around and the chara is alive in the game. Some comes with their own parts but some needs you to install the external part first

     @coolboymew @coldacid a lot of the patreon projects either fizzle out or milk the monthly donations for other stuff.

     there is, unsurprisingly, also a lot more drama (and mental illness) in this.. uh.. community. that also doesn’t help.
