Boomers DEFINITELY do not get it. Just a few days ago my mother was discussing going to visit one of the J6 prisoners in our state and I had to explain why that was a terrible idea if she didn't want to be on glowie radars.

You're exactly right. The way I've always seen it is I don't want to deal with heat for something that will end up amounting to nothing in the end.

Oh man, they did more than go after him. They pulled out all the stops and tried to destroy him. Even now he refuses to take any graduate students and has a negative fog hanging over his head thanks to this.

Same. I will catch up on stuff from time to time but I don't go deep in the rabbit hole like I used to.

Man, the tranny frog shit is wild too. The scientist that discovered it and tried to bring attention to it was gone after HARD. They tried to destroy his reputation and silence him, all for a fucking company that was causing the issues with their dumping of chemicals and hormones into waterways, and went to extreme lengths. Oki did a damned fine video on it (I can't remember if the vaccine shit was in this video too or not) despite him later turning into a lunatic troon lover that spergs all the time on Twitter.

One thing I do remember is there was a part about the clipper chip stuff and it led to them showing these other chips and how they'd already been spying with similar stuff already. Hopefully that'll help me narrow it down. a lot of the chips were part of the Snowden leaks but people didn't understand just how long a lot of these super simple chips had been used.

I agree, the downside is you're just one accident away from being vanned. That's why I stay away from anything that could end up causing me to get my colon inspected in a federal prison.

No, I remember it was on Netflix before it went completely into the shitter and it was focused on infosec but I cannot recall the name to save my life. I will look this week and if I can find it again I'll post it and tag you. Hopefully I can find it again but I have my doubts.

I remember watching a documentary a few years ago, I wish I could remember the name, where they were discussing old ways of spying and brought up how they were using some wireless tech years before it was widely available to spy on people. The entire thing was so freaky because this was back on the late 80s/early 90s.

I remeber watching those speeches a few days after they were published online and became the big thing being talked about in tons of circles. It terrified me then and after years of watching where things have gone I can't even imagine how much worse it has gotten.

Yeah, they've got a long weird history.

PrivateInternetAccess also changed hands. It's really odd to me that all of these privacy providers keep being purchased by shady organizations. If I knew how to roll my own VPN I damned sure would.
