@verita84 @SchizoCynic @Hoss When things like CDs or savings accounts have interest rates of 0.01%, you’re not even coming close to beating inflation. Since the only point of investing excess wealth is to make it grow, preferably faster than inflation, that doesn’t make any sense. So people are incentivized to seek riskier investments. They’d rather not, but they don’t have a choice. See you see more people investing in things that don’t make sense.
