    @Meemoo @Iffine That will depend how the 5090 performs and how expensive it will be.

    You can also look into the 7900XTX. Its performance is on par with 4080 but has 24GB of VRAM.

    @Meemoo @Iffine RTX does look really pretty. I can run cyberpunk on full setting and it makes for amazing screenshots.

    The problem is that RTX adds nothing gameplay wise (yet). It not like you'll stop to admire the realistic reflections in the middle of a gunfight.

    You'd think someone would have used raytracing tech for stealth game or horror game mechanics but noone did it yet. Presumably because most PC gamer's can't use it and consoles are a meme.

    @Iffine @Meemoo At that point you're better off finding a used 3090. Those hover around 500~600 and run circles around anything kiketel and AMD has on offer for that price range.

    Ideally FSR and DLSS should help to get you more mileage out of your card but now it abused by lazy devs to make your card obsolete even faster.

    @Meemoo @Iffine A recent vid i watched pointed how devs are using DLSS 3 to compensate for their shit optimization like the new monster hunter game.
    It would not surprise me if NVidia encouraged this to get people to upgrade from the 3k series just to be able to use DLSS 3 to get decent framerates on the latest AAA slop.

    Kiketel and soyny should chip in improving FSR which is opensource just to fuck over nvidia but instead their using their own shit so the status quo remains. :reimu_sigh:

    @Meemoo I got mine at around the same time just when the crypto mining market crashed into the ground for around 800 bucks. The 4070 just came out back then and those pieces of shit went for 1200 at the time.

    Its was a used mining card but it came with warranty. I only replaced the thermal paste with PTM7950 and it works perfectly. :snum_sneezeandcum:
