This stupid fucking idea might actually be manageable now. I think the best thought I had is to just say fuck doing this with player characters because player skills and statpools do not play well into smacking each other.
Just have to match CR between armies. I'm confident a misfit crew of like 9 CR 1s and like 5 CR points in middling monsters might stand a chance against a CR 15 Vampire Warrior. Imagine Strahd getting jumped by a Darkling Elder herding 9 Faerie Dragons and a Barghest.
Related, my eyes are wired open right now, I'm exhausted and can't sleep, and I can't even get a clear answer from my boss if I am or am not working this weekend. Stick a fork in me I'm done.

supersidSomewhere between my inability to sleep and watching misc dumb videos about "How to play X character in DnD", I have had a horrible idea grace my mind. Grabbing monsters from the bestiary and using them to play a dumb war game or something. Basically everyone is playing from the role of DM, and you're just trying to win whatever objective you're playing with an army of monsters from the book
@Tamamo@Immahnoob@rlier23 I generally only play at arcades, the thing that throws me off worst is when the song blends into the background noise. I can't hold to the beat at all without the sound guiding me lol.
@Tamamo@Immahnoob@rlier23 Can confirm that once you get the flow of specific arrow combinations it's all about building the Stamina to keep up with them. I think I capped out at like 10/11 difficulty songs when I played DDR more extensively.
@Ronnie21093 Haven't looked into it, but the main jist of it seems to be the Kira player and his allies trying to steal the IDs of the cop players and funnel them into the Kira so that he can deathnote them. I imagine the cops have some lists of goals that causes them to win when completed.
@Moto_Chagatai Hangul is also in insanely clever written language. The idea of squishing multiple letters into a single jamo makes it really space efficient like kanji while being infinitely more parsable. Shame the sound of spoken Korean doesn't match it's beauty.
@Immahnoob@Moto_Chagatai It's the end of the Yalu River Broken Bridge. When it was still up it crossed the gap into North Korea, but American bombing runs during the Korean war damaged it as a means of cutting off the supply lines of the enemy. The projector puts an image on this glass window of the rail running off in the distance, with a message hoping that one day North Korea would allow them the ability to freight trains through their country so they could be connected to the mainland again.
I just like to vibe, mostly just hang around and chat about whatevers going on, and if my muse catches me I might make Koikatsu stuff. You're also completely free to pitch ideas at me if they come your way. Though no guarantee on that.
