Okay I have a :walmart: delivery scheduled for 14:00-15:00 today (in about 8 hours).
We have chicken noodle soup, great value :sprite:/:7up:, and some :gatorade:.
Sadly no delivery options before 14:00. Likely they're extra busy because of Christmas.
That's fine. It should be here in time for a late lunch.
I've only had a few nibbles of some instant stuffing over the past 2-3 days.
I woke up somewhere around 01:00 this morning with my sheets and pillow drenched in sweat. I was able to get my sheets dry by just turning on my ceiling fan for about 5 minutes while I did some stuff. My pillow was still damp when I got back so I threw a towel over it and went back to sleep. Now I'm awake and I certainly feel a lot better. I'm definitely not at 100% and I think I might still have a slight fever but I'm just trying to take it easy.
My main concern is hydration. This morning my pee was so dark it was almost brown. I've been drinking water but over the past couple of days it seems to just go right through me so I'm not really absorbing much fluids so that's not ideal
Oh actually let me add this to my order just in case that's still an issue.
It will be nice to be able to actually have a meal. Even if it is just chicken noodle soup and crackers.
Anyway, that's my status. Nose isn't stopped up, still have sinus drainage, still coughing every once in a while, throat is a little sore but not enough to be a nuisance, and I'm usually able to cough the mucus out of my lungs with little issue.
Gotta say it's a little odd that coof is so much worse now. When I got it like 2 years ago it was nothing but this round it hit pretty hard.

Oh man I should have done this earlier. I was worried it'd kill my fever. Nope it just makes me comfy and cold. The thermostat set at 74 and under 2 blankets is pretty comfy right now.

If they're sick they want an antibiotic so they feel like they're getting treatment. If they don't get an antibiotic for the flu they'll throw a fit and go somewhere else.
Since patient satisfaction plays a big part for how much funding the clinic will get. So doctors are kind of forced to give dumb people what they want even if it's bad for them.
Antibiotics should really only be used if it's been 2 or 3 days and you still haven't gotten any better. They're really bad for your gut and giving them out like candy is why we now have so many antibiotic resistance strands of bacteria now.
This would also explain why she gave a z-pak. It's kind of become the skittles doctor's give to make patients feel like they're getting treatment because we now have a lot of things resistant to z-pak.
That being said, z-pak is still useful. Just not as useful as it used to be because people are retarded. -

The Rynex Dm (antihistamine, cough suppressant, and decongestant) makes sense. However the Zithromax has me a bit confused. What is an antibiotic supposed to do for a viral infection?
I will pick it up later just because I like to have antibiotics on hand as part of first aid but I really don't get why I was given and antibiotic for the coof. -

Man new COVID sucks compared to omicron.
For the most part I'm just trying to stay as comfortable and warm as I can. Soaking in a hot tub also helps a lot. I know I'd feel a lot better if I took some acetaminophen to get rid of the fever but my immune system works a lot better at higher than normal temperatures so I don't think I will.
I haven't had anything but water today and tbh I'm not really hungry. This is also the longest by far I've gone without weed in the past 8 months. I'm just not feeling it even though I know it'll treat most of my symptoms. I dunno maybe I'll use some tonight to just make sleep easier but I dunno.
Honestly I was expecting some kind of withdrawal symptoms from not using weed all day but nothing. I don't even have the desire to use it to lessen my symptoms because I feel like trash. It's not really a bad thing I'm just kind of surprised is all. Maybe I'll try some later but right now I can't be fucked to get out of bed.
I do feel a little bit more better than this morning and definitely I feel better than last night but I can tell this is going to take a few more days to run its course. -

I make it to the pharmacy and they said they didn't have anything for me. I called the clinic back and they said they hadn't sent it yet and to wait for about 20 minutes before they sent it over. I told them I wasn't going to do that and that I was going home. Now I'm home. No medication but at least I can lie down. -
