That is incredibly cool. It's not easy to host shared classic computing environments for people.

I'm seing a trend away from "Text Size" sliders or old fashioned font dialogs and towards a few set choices "Default", "Large","Larger", etc.

This is a HUGE step backwards. Your 'larger' is *never* large enough for my crazy busted eyeballs when I'm using my 34" monitor.

If you must do this, please be sure to add "Largest" and even "ZOMG ARE YOU SERIOUS LARGE" options. Some of us REALLY need them, even if it seems insane to you.

@mntmn the 13 inch. I know that’s what most people use but I struggle with 15 and 16 is barely comfortable. I’m still in mourning because most companies don’t make 17 inch laptops anymore :-)

@mntmn Wow this thing looks super cool! The display is WAY too small for my mutant cyclops barely working eye but I will definitely pass this along the next time I hear people dismiss the idea of an open laptop design!

When I came to the Fediverse ~3 years ago, one of the things I was immediately impressed by is that it was a real honest to god *community*.

People put content warnings on their posts in an attempt to help people who needed it be able to choose what kind of content they'd like to see.

Because the thing with community is, it's not about YOU, it's about US.

I'm kind of sad to see that wither and die in the face of all the refugees from Twitter, but I guess it's par for the course. As any culture grows, its essential nature is diluted unless ALL of the people involve work against that.

This was my attempt at that.

I think what I will do going forward is simply start blocking people who don't use content warnings.

If we can't keep the culture going as a community, I'll keep it alive in my own little curated garden :)
