i figured out how to run ISE's netgen using ctypes. are you proud of me

i think there are at least three levels of wrappers before `netgen` runs the real netgen task. they managed to make java in c++. impressive

@fasterthanlime my experience with LLMs as a developer is that other people deploy them without thought and I have to fix or review their shit

i think the optimal amount of people being upset with you (in relation to your work) is non-zero

if nobody gets upset about what you're doing, there is space to be more ambitious, and to push the boundaries of the status quo more

i can't overstate how much this is not an exaggeration. the endo diagnosed us with pre-diabetes and made several prescriptions without looking at a single test; from what she said it seemed likely that it was about beauty standards

anyway, a few months later we did a HbA1c test and a GTT (which is the gold standard diagnostic test) and excluded pre-diabetes conclusively

i think a lot about how the doctors at the clinic that explicitly catered to trans people were considerably worse than the average in a country that is widely considered "not trans-friendly" [not UK].

the average doctor pretended to not understand anything and paid attention to what we're saying. the ones from that clinic pretended to understand everything and did not listen to a single word we say
