When I grew up, bombing hospitals and killing children was wrong.

It did not matter whose hospital or children it was.

It was just wrong.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog claims Palestinians are collectively responsible for the Hamas attacks and says civilians could not have been unaware of the planned attacks.

I strongly disagree, because even the Israeli intelligence service Mosad did not know.

If you were previously disappointed with the search function on Mastodon, I highly recommend you try it again, as it has improved considerably.

@Gargron thank you Eugen. That makes a lot of sense. I remember how the follow function on Twitter was abused by pornographic accounts to get attention. That was quite annoying.

However, the current error message is not accurate then. Could a solution be to add a "Read more" link to the message?

Alternatively, I believe updating the error message to explain the exact rule would be helpful.

I have really come to love Mastodon. So much so, I have followed everyone I found interesting, and everyone who has followed me.

Now I am following 7,500 people, and while I really enjoy that, Mastodon now prevents me from following anyone else.

I do not understand, why Mastodon would have such a rule. To me it seems very counterproductive to the whole concept of connecting with people from all over the world.

As a European I am still astonished, that this is the guy, half of America wants as president.

In Florida, a public school teacher of 10 year old kids is under investigation because she showed a cartoon movie to the pupils.

The movie is about science and exploring, but in the movie one of the characters is gay, and now the teacher has been reported to the state for violating the "Don't say gay" laws introduced under republican governor Ron DeSantis.
