@yockeypuck >"I don't think this economy is the best time to have kids"
Spoiler alert: it's never the perfect time to have kids
-
@Tony @graf @yockeypuck If this wasn't intentional, what would be different if they were planning for it be this way?

>Buy expensive EV
>Get sideswiped by nigger
>Your entire car is totaled by insurance because of the battery
Lmao

@CrustyB Yeah it's really fucking gay
-
Inflation could hit 25% and the entire media cycle will be some shitbag federal judge dressed down Trump in le epic own of bad orange man
-
Tbh I'm upset about the impending arrest of Trump, not because I have any sympathy for him, but because of how fake and gay it is. It's a fucking bullshit campaign finance charge which was previously acknowledged as being too much of a stretch and now a gigantic gay spectacle is going to unfold where all the worst types of people say this is a massive victory for democracy while everything continues to go to shit. All of the oxygen is going to be sucked out of the public debate for courtroom antics while average people are being immiserated. It's so tiresome.
-
OK, seriously, this is our last chance. We mean it. The final red line, the last point of no return. We're being honest here, really. Please, give up electricity.

I don't understand how anyone can believe this when nobody operates as if this is reality. China, India, and Africa aren't reducing emissions. If this was real then the ultimate lifeboat scenario would have to be enacted where every major population center in India, China, and Africa would have to be hit with nukes/VX gas in order to save the planet.

@RowdyRamzan @SerfnUSA @LukeAlmighty Yeah a lot of it is people balking at doing stuff like hand-me-downs instead of buying brand new clothes for every child because that offends some kind of striver impulse, because that's what their grandparents did. Having children is more important to me than maintaining an image of permanent upward mobility.
-
@LukeAlmighty @BowsacNoodle Low IQ women benefit from living in the eternal present, high IQ women are paralyzed from the eternal fear of a bad future
-
@PonyPanda @LukeAlmighty @BowsacNoodle Somebody once described something as "so stupid you'd have to have gone to college to believe that" and that stuck with me ever since lol
-
@LukeAlmighty People vastly overestimate the cost of children, because they equate "nice things to have" with "necessities". This is part of the Psyop campaign. Children don't need tons of electronic Fisher-Price toys to grow up well adjusted.
-
@mmmfeet @LukeAlmighty You can still raise kids even in today's shitty environment, obviously things are not as conducive for family formation as the 1950s, or even the 1980s. The key takeaway is that the average woman is not inherently some weird ghoul who hates babies, she's been fed bad information all of her life and she's anxious about being in a precarious state.
-
Interesting study that was done on women and their opinions on children. In an ideal environment the average woman would want enough kids to maintain a stable population.
-
The collapse in the birthrates is entirely among more intelligent women as they have the highest gap between real and ideal. If these women had their ideal number of children, the decline in IQ would be mitigated between 50-70%. The collapsing fertility is the result of smart women being psyopped and creating enough fear and uncertainty for them to delay childrearing.
