@InayaShujaat how would he have made "very bad" for muslims? The idea of secularism is to treat people irrespective of religion.

Kemal Kilicdaroglu promised to strengthen the free press and independent courts. His promise to reinstate the position of prime minister would probably reduce the power of the president.(That'd be his power, if he won.)[1]

@InayaShujaat Like arresting election observers[2] existence and use of anti-free-speech laws.[3] I am hardly knowledgable on this topic, but i do know that many academics, journalists and intellectuals have gone to prison for their speech.

(Know more reasons, but can hardly do this justice in some posts, and i just know know enough..)

Also i am not exactly sure what improvement you're going for with "modern".

@mntmn now i notice it's called an "ugly" hack? Like it's a small program doing one thing, the PKGBUILD says it needs only `qt5-base` and `hicolor-icon-theme`, so pretty good on the dependency side.

In the source code it says the .desktop file parsing is ugly. And not many comments. (also it's a bit _too_ simplistic, some keywords arguments, help&manpage, about thingy would be good)

But a complicated constellation of huge programs people are heavily invested in would be uglier?..

@alcinnz I hope so too, but probably the need for end point security, small tech, encryption, and internet life as an extension of real life will intensify if AI actually does work well.
