     Moderators here can remove such content with ease.

     Had a arguing with a guy supporting russia financially, someone made a report and all my messages from the conversation, along with even barely political posts and comments for the last 6 month or so were wiped by mods.

     @john Indeed.

     However, is there a huge amount of difference between mastodon.social – if they did, of course – removing an account on their server or blocking my instance of one? In both, they cut off access to me for their couple of million active users.

     So digital sovereignty matters but so does not having such massive power differentials or you might just end up very sovereignly talking to yourself :)

     @froge Well, before jumping to conclusions, I’d like to know if the person running it simply chose to delete the account or whether it was removed by mastodon.social. Hence my question.

     Do any moderators at @Mastodon have some insight to share? Would be appreciated.

     @TheComfortableSpotPodcast The accusations can be easily backed up with sources; they’re based on widely reported facts. But yes, I’d like to see them backed up too as folks will likely not believe it. I mean, there are people who’ve seen his Hitler salute twice at the inauguration who are still giving him the benefit of the doubt so… 🤷♂️

     @aral i think that's bad messaging, it's telling them to feel bad. Tell them to change/remove the emblem and maybe put a bumper sticker up.

     Give them actions to improve free speech and the value of a human life..
