@bookstodon @amerika @GLFC Thanks I’ll look out for some of those. Though I’ve tried Philip K Dick stories before and couldn’t get into them. Maybe 20 years later I’ll enjoy them more. I do like Bladerunner.

I really enjoyed the Bester’s I’ve read, and you’ve just reminded me I picked up a Farmer book last year in a second hand store and never read it.
Will look out for Poul Anderson too.

Finished Neuromancer, loved it.

Think it helped that I’d read Peripherals recently so this wasn’t my first Gibson.
He does drop you directly into the story with no explanation, so it pays to be swept along until you are brought into the narrative.

Now deciding what to read next.
