@sun_eater @maija My little one-liner brought it from not working at all on my XMPP instance to working, but being a clunky piece of shit.

My experience with federated chat services has been rather terrible. They all sucked. The UI/UX just can't compete with commercial, proprietary services like Discord or Telegram and I think it's because the people who built them thought exclusively about abstract back-end ideas and not at all about things like the user experience.

This is not a problem I've seen with other FOSS/federated services, like the one we're on now. It's specifically chat services that suck ass.

@maija @sun_eater Converse was such a piece of shit I had to fix a bug just to get it to run at all when I first tried it. It failed outright at startup. At least they accepted my PR to fix it.

@maija trannyism has earned itself a terrible reputation in the last decade or so because they really have been used as this tranissary social enforcement arm of globohomo, which is antagonistic toward just about everybody attracted to this side of fedi. I'm not sure I want to get into the weeds on the "destroys civilization" front but Weimar Germany and its relationship to trannyism does seem to suggest that transgenderism does seem to provoke rather violent reactions from the general population as a recurring theme.

Those authentically interested in inverting their sex have chosen an inopportune time to engage in this endeavor for two reasons: one, because of the aforementioned low effort troons being the face of any transsexual movement today, and two, because frankly, the technology just isn't there. Efforts to invert sex just don't work right now, so even if you feel you are in the wrong body or whatever it doesn't fucking matter because the one you have is the one you got.

In the future, there may be more effective means to go from one sex to the other, but I think that's going to come well after even broke, poor people can go from totally butt ugly to bombshell beautiful or Adonis giga Chad. It's just so far down the line, especially if you're hoping to emulate the reproductive apparatus of the opposite sex while you do so. It's a massive fucking undertaking and we're just not there yet.

People with some kind of gender dysphoria would probably do better for themselves by trying to get over the mental side of this condition than they would trying to change their body into what they want to become.

I’m dealing with some resentment this week. On a job hunt, I got told to my face that “we have enough white men.” I’m pretty mad about it. I want to see this woke HR cunt get forced into sexual slavery, pimped out like meat, then dragged behind someone’s car for being a whore. I want to see gasoline poured on her and then her lit on fire. And I want the same for her boss, and her boss’ boss, and all the way up the chain for everybody involved in this. I want justice. I see this exact line of thought in the other direction: both Republican/Democrat parties are left wing because they both support white genocide etc. And they do. So that take has more merit than the take that both Republican/Democrat parties are right wing.
Name one truly right wing policy distinctive to the Democrats. For it to qualify as truly right wing in the context of America, it needs to act as a countervailing policy to their decidedly left wing view that straight white men need to be replaced by black transbians. You can’t.
