@coin when i first got in contact with them 3 years ago, i was in no shape to find another job, so i looked for assistance. then came 2 years of lip flapping and paperwork and oops, no more money. it feels a bit like trying to ask a crash test dummy for help. you have to move its arms.

@coin it they acted the part and didn't lull you into a false sense of security. all the messaging and body language says "we're on your team" but their actions are more like "we're here to kick you while you're down"

had a meeting with the job and welfare office. told them the job program they put me on doesn't appear to be working out, and that i think my mental condition is the issue, so we should probably look into taking that approach moving on. they agreed with me.

then they halted my benefits, with immediate effect. rent is due.

they're such assholes.

now, see, this kind of openmindedness is why i make friends with people i probably should avoid 😬

a couple of junkies were standing outside the store i just went to. i was wondering who they were so i greeted them. they were staring at some cellphones, apparently unable to figure out how to work them.

i mean, at least i tried. i wasn't as high as them. i was semi wondering if maybe i could help them out as i left the store but i decided this was not a good idea.

i'm tempted to think i just got the wrong impression of them

maybe these "junkies" were just outdoor mobile gamers... 💀

i mean, how much of a difference is there REALLY between a junkie with a smartphone and a Pokemon Go player?

i had to take her to a clinic to terminate the pregnancy. it cost us no money. again, this is a safe country. she didn't understand.

having a kid with no support network is a disaster. but she was literally in the best country.
