   had a meeting with the job and welfare office. told them the job program they put me on doesn't appear to be working out, and that i think my mental condition is the issue, so we should probably look into taking that approach moving on. they agreed with me.

   then they halted my benefits, with immediate effect. rent is due.

   they're such assholes.

     @coin it they acted the part and didn't lull you into a false sense of security. all the messaging and body language says "we're on your team" but their actions are more like "we're here to kick you while you're down"

     @coin when i first got in contact with them 3 years ago, i was in no shape to find another job, so i looked for assistance. then came 2 years of lip flapping and paperwork and oops, no more money. it feels a bit like trying to ask a crash test dummy for help. you have to move its arms.

     @coin prior to being on that job program, i had to do the same thing. my entitlement to regular unemployment benefits ran out, so i was scraping the bottom of the barrel.

     @coin paperwork. application for emergency benefits. hand them all my bank statements. i hate that they get to review my personal finances, but i need to pay rent.
