OK, this is bullshit and should be called off. People who tries to downplay eroticism and nudity as fanservice are morons. Anime is a visual medium where we can expand the boundaries of what is attractive or not, and if the story relates to genderswap, coming of age or if you want to go there, even about the trans experience, removing the body parts and taming the "sexiness" does a disservice to the show and the story. It's like pretending Barbie's body is anatomically accurate.
I can argue that the availability of butt cracks and boobies is part of what makes Anime great in the first place. Not all Anime needed it but it's there for a reason. If the cultural progress that we have achieved demands that there should be less of it, then I should I say we moved into a sex negative world where Puritans have won. And that's not really a creative environment we should tolerate. -

This may influence your personal view on whether or not fan service is important to this series or not and finally…"
Again, westerners ruined again but this excuse is flimsy at best and disingenuous at worst. -
