@rlier23 @lapin will chime in off this, there are many great platformers on steam, for one i'll recommend blasphemous.

another great game is the vagrant, it is more of a 2d hack and slash with platforming than an actual platformer.

also for consideration is overlord escape from nazarick, which i'll be honest the game is worth it IF you like overlord AND the game is on sale (like it is rn at $11.99)

if you like shoot em ups then caladrius blaze is a fun game, it has a very old school feel to the gameplay and fun mechanics.
