@alex @Gargron @charliebrownau @GoodPerson @EmmaFaber Mary was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus. She did not have sex with Joseph until after Jesus was born. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

Catholics will try to say she never had sex Joseph, but that is clearly contrary to the plain meaning of the text.

"And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus." - Matthew 1:25 KJV

Clearly if I say "Jack did not get a car till he turned 18", I mean to communicate that he did get a car after he turned 18 (but not before).
The Bible also mentions that Jesus had brother's and sisters which Catholics argue were Joseph's children from a previous marriage.
