I have a question: I have an analog camera to repair and in order to do so, I will need to remove the artificial leather it is wrapped in. Afterwards, I can of course re-glue it back to the body, however I could also replace it since it is a bit used up anyways. Now I was wondering, which material could I use here? What vegan leather-style materials are there? In what could I wrap the camera body? (not looking for anything super soft, furry or denim, rather something leathery)
I think I have teased this already, so here it is: Proudly presenting “ligra”, an open source projector/projection (LiGra – Light Graffiti) platform, allowing you to broadcast your messages, your logos, your artwork, whatever you need others to hear, to whoever sees it! :3
With ligra I wanted to explore image-projection and especially projections on the cheap, so I went to my local flea market and built a platform around old camera lenses. You can find two of them in the wild at #GPN22
I just love 3D structures on PCBs (like PCBs plugged into each other) 🥺
So uhm, there will be a new version of OtterCast soon, with a focus on simplicity, accessibility and being cheap. Instead of a 234-ball BGA there is now no part more complex than QFN, furthermore it will be possible to have it fully assembled by JLC. There will be PoE and an on board amplifier, converting your passive speakers into a PoE enabled multi room audio setup. More infos soon~ :3
